Trophy 6: Attended the Embassy

Eventually I got back to the main story. Aloy forces her way through the border gates to see the Tenakth before they are ready for the Embassy. She ain’t got no time to wait, what with the world ending and whatnot.
Aloy has a chat with a Carja who joined the Tenakth after being captured. He gives her a ton of information on Tenakth society (they seem like the viscous tribal warrior types). The Embassy finally starts when the last Tenakth faction signals their readiness.
Unfortunately, the party is crashed by a rebel Tenakth faction and all the Carja are brutally murdered by the group (including the mouthy Sun Priest who died a coward). Aloy manages to drive them off and notes they’ve learned how to ride machines (dammit, Sylens).
After that epic disaster of diplomacy, Aloy sets off into the west to track down Sylens (and hopefully a GAIA backup).
Trophy 7: First Tallneck Overridden

Tallnecks make a return in Forbidden West! It felt no less awesome to climb my first one in this adventure, revealing the first part of the map to me.

Camps occupied by humans with dumb AI also make a comeback in Forbidden West! The first one I did was tied to the mystery of how Bristlebacks smashed their way into the Daunt.
Trophy 9: Obtained 3 Stripes at a Hunting Ground
Official Description: Earned at least a Quarter Stripe mark in all three trials at one Hunting Ground.

I remember the Hunting Grounds in Zero Dawn well, friends. The Glinthawk tie-down one was an absolute nightmare (especially since I remember it). Forbidden West seems much more forgiving with the Hunting Grounds. It wasn’t too difficult to ace the Daunt course.
Trophy 10: Defeated Machine Strike Challengers
Official Description: Won a match against 2 different Machine Strike challengers.

Machine Strike is a new thing in Forbidden West! It’s kinda like the obligatory minigame most open world games have these days. It was a bit of an information overload, but my strategy of turtling in the corner and mowing down my opponents as they come to me has worked well for most matches.
