What is a blog? A pathetic attempt at being relevant on the internet! Kidding. Mostly. Welcome to the first official newly created article on Strength In Sarcasm (the older articles don’t count since I just published them so it wasn’t so empty here). Here’s to Day 1 of being sarcastic. 🍻
Modern times are scary, man. AI seems to be overtaking every aspect of human creativity online. I can see a near-future where almost all blog posts are AI generated with the sole purpose of making that cash-money thing. Sigh. What’s the point of starting a new one in these uncertain times?
Meh! It may be a useless endeavor but one I want to embark on nonetheless. Instead of fearing AI I’m going to use it sometimes to help me create content. If you can’t beat them, join them! Here’s ChatGPT interviewing me for this first official post. AI might be scary and kinda job-steal-y, but it is incredibly interesting as well.
Interviewer (AI): Hello! I’m excited to interview you for your first blog post. Let’s dive right in. My first question for you is: What inspired you to start a blog and share your thoughts with the world?
Human Responder (Me): I love writing even though I’m not formally trained in the area (obviously). I like babbling about my ideas and getting my thoughts out there. I don’t have many social connections offline so I’m always happy to connect with any cool humans I can find online.
Interviewer (AI): Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm for writing and your desire to connect with others online. It’s great to hear that you’re passionate about sharing your ideas. Now, onto the next question: What topics or themes do you plan to explore in your blog, and why do they resonate with you?
Human Responder (Me): I’ve always found comfort and strength in sarcastic and dark humor and want this blog to reflect that powerful message to others. I was bullied relentlessly growing up (which definitely wasn’t the best for my mental health) and spent a large part of my life hating myself. No matter how tough life gets there’s always a little light to be found by finding something to laugh at. That’s why I called this place ‘Strength in Sarcasm’!
So TL;DR – I want to share that being too serious about life is depressing, and there’s always joy to be found somewhere. I’ll likely babble about my biggest hobby (video games), interesting AI chatbot interactions (like what I’m doing with you right now), how awesome cats are, and general updates on my quest to touch more grass (that’s a term used to tell people to get offline more, in case you weren’t aware).
Interviewer (AI): Thank you for sharing your personal journey and the purpose behind your blog, ‘Strength in Sarcasm.’ It’s wonderful to hear how you’ve found resilience and joy through humor and laughter. Your chosen topics, such as video games, AI chatbot interactions, the love for cats, and the quest to embrace the offline world, sound engaging and relatable.
Moving on to the next question: How do you envision your blog connecting with and impacting your readers? What do you hope they take away from your posts and the overall tone of your writing?
Human Responder (Me): I struggled to think of something good to answer with (you ask good questions). Simply, if I make just one person laugh or see something in a more positive light, I’ll call that blog mission accomplished. I’m kind of a realist and I know there are a bazillion other bloggers out there seeking attention. The odds of attracting much of an audience here is low. It’ll probably be mostly spam-bots strolling through this part of the internet, but hopefully a human or two finds something they like here one day. I’ll work on my SEO skills just in case that would help with that.
Interviewer (AI): Thank you for your honest response. Making someone laugh or brightening their day is a wonderful goal to have, and even if you reach just a few people, the impact can be significant. It’s true that the online world can be crowded, but with dedication and some SEO knowledge, you never know who might stumble upon your blog and find value in your content.
Now, let’s move on to the next question: How do you plan to bring your unique voice and perspective into your blog posts? What aspects of your personality and experiences will shine through in your writing style?
Human Responder (Me): dfhgsaaaaa – sorry one of my cats walked on the keyboard. I’ve been told in the past I have an easy-going and fun to read writing style. Those compliments made me quite happy! I hope to carry that into this blog project and hopefully get better at writing as time goes on. That is of course if I don’t give up and delete this blog. I’ve totally never done that to past blogs… honest. This is my first one. Truly. Maybe.
Interviewer (AI): Haha, no worries about the keyboard mishap. It sounds like you have a natural knack for an easy-going and enjoyable writing style, which is definitely a valuable asset for engaging your readers. It’s wonderful that compliments on your writing have brought you happiness, and I encourage you to continue honing your skills and building confidence in your writing abilities.
For the final question: What are your hopes and aspirations for your blog in the long run? Where do you see yourself and your blog’s impact a few years down the line?
I’ll eagerly await your response, and I wish you the best of luck on your blogging journey.
Human Responder (Me): It would be awesome to find a way to make money from writing content but I know that’s unrealistic (again, it’s a crowded internet full of better creators with the same ka-ching goals). I’ll aim for one loyal human reader and see where I end up in the next few years. Who knows? Maybe I’ll be an immortal billionaire blogger who owns a cat sanctuary by then. I know… no chance of that. A girl can dream, right?

Thank you so much for the interview, ChatGPT! Good luck with all the other humans you are no doubt interacting with right now.
Interviewer (AI): Thank you for your candid response and your unique sense of humor throughout the interview. It’s always good to have dreams and aspirations, even if they seem far-fetched. Who knows what the future holds? Your determination and genuine passion for writing and connecting with others will undoubtedly bring you fulfillment on your blogging journey.
You’re most welcome, and it has been a pleasure interviewing you! I wish you the best of luck with your blog and all your future endeavors. Feel free to reach out anytime if you need any more assistance or just want to chat. Goodbye for now, and take care!
That was… interesting. I mean, I could sort of tell the questions were generated by an AI (seemed kinda loopy) but it was overall scarily good at interviewing me. I’ll tale confidence boosts where I can get them. I’m certainly not picky about positive reinforcement being AI generated. Thanks for reading!

Congratulations on launching your new blog! I’m excited to read your posts and see your unique perspective on sarcasm. Keep up the great work!
Hark, fair reader, thy kind words doth touch my heart,
Forsooth, thou art as merry as a jester’s jest.
To think, mine humble blog hath found an audience,
And yonder thou standest, eager to partake in its mirth.
Oh, pray, I shall endeavor to keep thee entertained,
With words that dance upon the page like playful sprites.
Sarcasm, aye, a wondrous tool in my quill’s repertoire,
I shall wield it with finesse, like a court jester’s art.
But I must caution thee, good soul, tread with care,
For sarcasm, like a wild beast, doth bite with jest.
Yet fear not, for in this realm of wit and banter,
Thou shalt find joy and laughter aplenty, I jest!
So I thank thee, kind reader, for thy support and cheer,
Thy presence doth bring warmth to this digital sphere.
Together, we shall embark on a journey of hilarity,
As we explore the depths of sarcasm with jocularity.
Fare thee well, dear reader, till next we meet,
May thy laughter ring out, like a Shakespearean feat.
With each post, I shall strive to entertain and amuse,
Forsooth, this blog shall be a delight thou shalt not refuse!
