The Bed of Chaos was created by a ritual gone bad. The Witch of Izalith was trapped at the heart of it and killing the bed also killed her. One of her seven daughters, Quelana, chills in the Blighttown swamp and trains you in the art of pyromancy. All of her sisters and mother have been turned into demons so I can only imagine how hard that feels. For freeing her poor mum’s soul, she awarded me with the last pyromancy spell I needed. Awesome!

Then I did hours and hours of soul farming. I had everything needed to take on the final boss, but my goal wasn’t to just beat the game; it was to earn that shiny platinum trophy! To make my New Game+ playthrough as painless as possible, I farmed all the covenant items I needed and got a bunch of weapons upgraded and ready to ascend with boss souls/titanite slabs.

During this farming process, I fully upgraded an Enchanted Falchion I found in a mimic chest for this trophy.

I did a bit of mini-Pinwheel faming before Nito’s boss fight area to get all I needed to max out my holy Claymore. That was helpful in the NG+ Catacombs and Tomb of Giants areas!

After some effortless farming of the Black Knights in the last area (that was a good sign), I had what I needed to make my vanilla Longbow +15. Having a strong bow was definitely helpful in the New Game+ world.
