Trophy 21: Defeat Seath the Scaleless

Very long story short, I made it through the Duke’s Archives and outside to a crystal cave filled with invisible walkways over a crystal abyss. Oh, and lots of Moonlight Butterflies, Crystal Golems and Man-Eater Shells. Fun! At the back of the admittedly cool looking cave was a fairer rematch with Seath (he has an no-win appearance in the tower).
You need to shatter his crystal of immortality during the fight and then you can finally damage the jerk. The hardest part for me was an optional trophy-induced objective: cutting off his middle tail for a unique weapon I needed for the Knight’s Honor trophy. His tail bash attack is freaking devastating, and he turns around fast making his middle tail really hard to hit. I eventually got it! Simply killing him was much easier to do by nuking him with pyromancy spells.
Trophy 22: Wisdom of a Sage

A sad end to poor Logan’s quest. After I bought all his magic spells in the Duke’s Archives, he went insane and then turned hollow. I faced, uh, too much of him in the room where I originally found Seath.
Logan dropped the very last sorcery spell I needed! Just had a few Pyromancy spells, Miracles and a ton of unique weapons left to gather.
Trophy 23: Covenant: Path of the Dragon

I went on a side journey through Blighttown, down through the Great Hollow, and across the vast Ash Lake to meet an Everlasting Dragon dude. Praying to him got me into this covenant.
The Everlasting Dragon also let me cut off his tail for a unique weapon. Seriously, he didn’t even flinch, nor kick me out of his covenant. He’s definitely a better person than I am. Wish I could kill Patches again, by the way.
Trophy 24: Lightning Weapon

The next area I had to suffer through had a fire enemy theme. Me, being a pyromancer with a fire sword, seemed like a recipe for not doing so hot (pun intended). I decided to fully upgrade my Lightning Spear to help with that.
Trophy 25: Defeat Bed of Chaos

This boss is a weird one! It’s more like a puzzle than a traditional boss fight… and I suck at puzzles. Basically, ya gotta destroy two glowing things on the sides while trying not to fall through the floor. When the two glowing things are gone, the middle floor in front of the boss will cave in. This gives you access to jump down into a path that leads to the heart of the tangled root thing. Definitely a bed of chaos!
There are also save points for the boss. When you die after hitting a glowing thing, that glowing thing stays gone when you come back. That was helpful! I fell to my death a ton, and I was kinda pissed when I finally reached the path under the boss and was toasted by a fire spell I couldn’t avoid. I got to the heart of the bed eventually and slashed the fire bug, which instantly kills the boss. That was something, alright.
